Elise Young (M.Arch, BFA) is a designer with eight years experience in a range of building types, from hospitals to luxury vacation homes to retail showrooms. Elise established Eastside Design in 2009, aiming to find a happy balance between life and work, design and social responsibility.
Prior to founding Eastside, Elise was an Associate and Project Architect with Helliwell + Smith | Blue Sky Architecture, where she honed her skills in project management, architectural detailing, and residential interiors. Elise joined Blue Sky after three years with DGBK Architects, a Vancouver firm specializing in institutional and educational projects.
Elise is also mom to the world's cutest and most intelligent toddler, Ando.
